General Commodities

Petroleum coke, or petcoke, is a byproduct from the refining of crude oil. It consists mostly of carbon

Cement

Cement is a fine mineral powder manufactured with very precise processes. Mixed with water, this powder transforms into a paste that binds and hardens when submerged in water. Because the composition and fineness of the powder may vary, cement has different properties depending upon its makeup.

Concrete’s durability, strength and relatively low cost make it the backbone of buildings and infrastructure worldwide—houses, schools and hospitals as well as airports, bridges, highways and rail systems. The most-produced material on Earth will only be more in demand as, for example, developing nations become increasingly urban, extreme weather events necessitate more durable building materials and the price of other infrastructure materials continues to rise

Clinker

Clinker

Clinker is a nodular material produced in the kilning stage during the production of cement and is used as the binder in many cement products. The lumps or nodules of clinker are usually of diameter 3-25 mm and dark grey in color. It is produced by heating limestone and clay to the point of liquefaction at about 1400°C-1500°C in the rotary kiln. Clinker, when added with gypsum (to control the setting properties of cement and ensure compressive strength) and ground finely, produces cement. Clinker can be stored for long periods of time in a dry condition without degradation of quality, hence it is traded internationally and used by cement manufacturers when raw materials are found to be scarce or unavailable.

GMO White Maize Corn

GMO is short for "genetically modified organism." Genetic modification has been around for decades and is the most effective and rapid way to create a plant or animal with a specific trait or characteristic. It enables precise specific changes to the DNA sequence. Because DNA essentially comprises the blueprint for the whole organism, changes to the DNA change the functions the organism is capable of. There is really no other way to do this except by using the techniques developed over the last 40 years to directly manipulate the DNA.

MetCoke

Non-GMO White Maize Corn

Petroleum Coke

White corn is a sweet corn variety. Its ears are wrapped in tightly layered pale lime green to white husks. One ear ofcorn can contain up to 400 kernels growing in rows lengthwise. Both the kernels and milk of white corn are creamy white in color.

GMO Yellow Maize Corn

Genetically modified maize (corn) is a genetically modified crop. Specific maize strains have been genetically engineered to express agriculturally-desirable traits, including resistance to pests and to herbicides. Maize strains with both traits are now in use in multiple countries.

Prilled Urea

More than 90% of world production of urea is destined for use as a nitrogen-release fertilizer. Urea has the highest nitrogen content of all solid nitrogenous fertilizers in common use. Urea is a raw material for the manufacture of many important chemical compounds, such as : plastics (urea-formaldehyde resins), adhesives ( urea-melamine- formaldehyde) and industrial feedstock ( Potassium cyanate ).

Granular Urea

Granular Urea

Granular urea, with a 46 percent nitrogen content, is a solid nitrogen fertilizer product. Produced from ammonia and carbon dioxide, it has the highest nitrogen content of any solid nitrogen fertilizer. Granular urea can be applied by itself, or it can be easily mixed with phosphate and/or potash fertilizers, often as part of a total NPK (nitrogen, phosphate, and potash) plant food mix. As a granular product, urea can be applied directly to the soil using conventional spreading equipment. It is the most common form of nitrogen fertilizer used around the world.

HMS 1 & HMS 2

HMS 1 & HMS 2

HMS (Heavy Melting Scrap) has two grades as HMS1 and HMS2. HMS is widely traded and is the obsolete scarp and this is iron and steel obtained from demolished and dismantled items. The main difference in HMS1 and HMS2 is that HMS1 doesn’t have the blackened and galvanized steel, whereas HMS2 does.

The ISRI (institute of scrap recycling industries) has the following Categories further:-

  • ISRI 200- HMS 1: ISRI 201 (HMS 1): Same as ISRI 200 but pieces smaller than 36x18 inches.
  • ISRI 202- HMS 1: Similar as ISRI 200 but pieces smaller than 60x18 inches.
  • ISRI 203 -HMS 2: Steel scrap, black and galvanized, 1⁄8 inch and higher in thickness.
  • ISRI 204 -HMS 2: Similar as ISRI 203 but pieces smaller than 36x18 inches.
  • ISRI 205 -HMS 2: Similar as ISRI 204 but it may contain automotive scrap but for thin gauge material.
  • ISRI 206 (HMS 2): Same as ISRI 205 but pieces must be smaller than 60x18 inches.

HMS is traded as a mixture of 1 & 2, premium blend 80:20, lower grades 70:30, 60:40. While other main heavy scrap grades are Japan’s H3 and A3 from CIS.
We supply you Heavy Melting Scrap which is available through our supplier network worldwide. You will find us competitive in price and we source your HMS requirement near to your destination region to save the shipping costs.
